The Rendezvous is a good place to stay as it is well located at the top of Albert St so not too far from Queen St shopping or places to eat off Albert St. The rooms are all of a good size with some bigger variations on the higher floors. If you upgrade to Club Class you will get free breakfast each morning and free drinks between 5.30pm & 7pm each evening. The Club lounge is a bit small but has good views over downtown Auckland and the Sky Tower. Check out their website for special pricing and always try to talk about room price and getting a better deal.

The hotel has an okay gym and a couple of restaurants but you will probably want to eat out.
