Great Motel next to One Tree Hill

Although I would not consider Epsom the perfect location for exploring Auckland I would always go back to this 4+ star motel. Already from the outside it looks inviting, and not like so many other motels, just unique, with a lot of green around. The service is super friendly, and the units are wonderful, like a homely lounge and dining room, and separate bedroom, all very nicely appointed with quality furniture. All units have a kitchen including microwave and remote-controlled aircondition, some with CD and DVD player.

As said, you need the car or better - because less stressful - the bus to get to the city centre, but in its own sense the motel has a perfect location. It is situated opposite the Logan Campbell Fountain and Monument - and, really fantastic, just a minute from Cornwall Park and the One Tree Hill Domain. In Cornwall Park you can go for nice walks or jogging, it is a wonderful park, and from One Tree Hill you have a fabulous view over the city. But you surely know that One Tree Hill is a must-visit place if you are in Auckland. So just start your sightseeing tour there.

Rates (as Feb. 2007):
$142.50 for a refurbished executive studio, to $190 for a one-bedroom apartment and $265 for a two-bedroom/two-bathroom apartment - the latter are only available for a minimum stay of 3 nights.
