This is not in your league.
When I turned up at the Hotel after a few days of stay at a Hostel, I must have reeked of "Backpacker"....for the chap at the Reception, was momentarily stunned I was about to stay here and spluttered his way for the first few seconds before he collected himself and reverted stiffly back to all polished coolness and politeness.
And in case you are wondering why I stayed here....it was all courtesy of business as usual. Like to think I own a gold mine folks, but something has to pay for all my indulgences.
Comfortable comfortable comfortable. What can I say? It was a suite and came fully equipped with a kitchen, shower, Internet connection, working desk, fully loaded mini-fridge, wardrobe, satelite TV channels, complimentary newspaper and laundry. The only shame? My windows faced the carpark, instead of the famed Auckland harbour behind it.
Oh well, you can't have it all.
Business class league; business class comfort.
Location is excellent. It's just 10-15 minutes walk to Queen Street at the heart of the City. And just behind it, as mentioned, the famed Auckland Harbour and its labyrinth of upmarket restaurants.
The hotel surprisingly does not have its own pool. Guests can however receive complimentary discounted entry into the Tepid Baths right next door where you can tuck in some laps and throw in some jacuzzi time.
