Blue Tides Beach Front: Blue Tides Beach Front

Well this was a strange place to stay in. When we first arrived she thought it was for a single person ( luckily had booked us into a double room). The owner was always there so I never felt comfortable walking around, couldn't make a cup of tea because I didn't want to mess up her kitchen. Was told to use her shower gel and hair shampoo because ours might leave strinks on her shower :-( and the chairs outside had to be folded away before you left them - This was more like a prison camp than a holiday place. Couldn't wait to get out. Luckily only stayed one night. The owner was trying to get me to stay for longer over email and told me to travel to Rotoura every day instead of putting up with the smell.

I have stayed in other bed and breakfast places around NZ and the owners have always made me feel welcome and allowed us to use the facilities as we liked - this owner did not.
