Enjoy your own personal spa!
Devonwood Manor is a motel from the Pacifica chain who, for some reason, seem to specialise in English Mock Tudor style motels!
Our room was spotless, with a separate lounge/kitchen as well as the double bedroom, and best of all, a private enclosed courtyard with our own spa pool! Actually, you would be hard pressed to find a motel in Rotorua which didn't offer this.
Although you could walk into town from here, to be fair it would be a long walk - better to drive or get a taxi.
It was here that I discovered that 8.30am is not too early in the day to be sat in a spa pool with a glass of Merlot and a plate of blue cheese and crackers (oh, and id I mention the Rotorua Mud face mask...?)

COUNTRY ENGLISH STYLE MOTEL
We stayed at Devonwood manor motel, with country English style building. The motel located on Rotorua main's road. We had a huge room with kitchen, bathroom, sliding door leading out to the spa. The motel also has a small outdoor pool.
