Regal Palms 5 Star City Resort Rotorua

We stayed at this resort for only one night, but one night is all you need to know that this resort is beautiful. I traveled with my 5yr & 7yr old children.
The resort is absolutely family friendly, we had a play ground + BBQ + Pool + mini golf right outside our door, so the kids could play while we sat inside the hotel/motel suite and we were still able to have the kids in sight.

The room we stayed in was perfect, double bed size rollout bed + single sofa bed in the lounge, spa bath, private patio, tea coffee, everything you would expect from a 5star accommodation.

If there was anything that stopped the place from being perfect it was that the owners were away and had a grumpy old man minding the desk. His wife was lovely, but he made it difficult to place a PERFECT rating as his service was very rude.

Otherwise, i wouldn't hesitate to recommend the resort to anyone :)

The Regal Palms was certainly different from some of the adorable B&B's we stayed at while touring NZ, but we were still very pleased. A very large room, clean, quiet, and an amazing bathroom. A huge spa tub in each room to relax in after a day of touring. Since Rotorua was the beginning of our wind down period of the vacation, it was much appreciated.

Continental breakfast is available for purchase, and will be delivered at the specified time.

Unique Quality: The spa tub is to die for!

We were also surprised at the very personalized service we received. This was a fairly large facility, and we were surprised that the staff knew us so quickly. They were always ready to help with directions, reservations or suggestions.
