Pepper Tree Hostel: The only YHA Affiliated Hostel in Palmy
The hostel feels more like a house than a hostel. The tv room in front is the heart of the building and it is easy to meet other travelers there. There are no locks on the doors but Cherie, the manager, keeps a close eye on who enters and exits, assuring travelers that they have never had a problem with thievery. There didn't seem to be any problems when I was there. The bathrooms are co-ed as it is basically a house. Watch out for the cat. It's a mean thing. The building is older but if you're looking for cheap, clean accommodations, it's not bad. Overall, i was satisfied with my stay.
Unique Quality: Just that it's a house more than a hostel.
