Value For Money

This hostel has appeal. Its very charming to say the least. With decor that is easy on the eye and not to mention the friendly hosts, including their family consisting of 2 dogs and an aviary of various varieties of birds, are both welcoming and a godsend for anyone who is in need of a warm dry bed for the night. Peter and Noell are happy to give advice on what to see in and around the Whangarei area.

The hostel itself has 2 kitchens, with free tea and coffee, a fire place to gather around in the evenings on a cold winters night and conversate with other travellers while relaxing before bedtime, comfortable beds and this place even has a bath. How many hostels have you been to that have a bath?? Mmm this is definately a plus in my books.

Also this has to be one of the cleanest hostels around, very well maintained.

Unique Quality: If you havent guessed already, the best thing about this place is the bath. Of course that is the best thing next to the service and friendliness of the hosts. The hostel also provides free storage while you go sightseeing around Northland. The gardens are also a nice touch for when you just feel like a sit in the sun and a little relaxation time.
