Be sure to pack for all occassions...Our diverse weather is caused by living by the mountain. It may be a crystal clear day but it can still be freeezing. Or scortching hot, so you never know. Just pack for all occassions, that goes for the whole of nz :D A very photogenic province we are, so be sure to pack plenty of film, or a high storage digital camera card! Theres plenty of camping grounds. So be sure to bring a tent, or if you like just hire one here!
