Refurbishment Would Be Nice

Mercure Hotel Willis Street is located in the Cuba Quarter of Wellington offering comfort, convenience and all the amenities you would expect from 3.5 star international hotel.
The hotel is a short walk to all of Wellington's iconic attractions plus the famous cafe and boutique precinct of Cuba Street. It is well sited for the university but a bit far away from the CBD.
Good room rates (about NZ$ 100 to 120) are available on www.wotif.com
Mercure Hotel Willis Street offers an indoor heated swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna and squash courts.
Restaurant on site – not visited.
Hotel was old and could have done with refurbishment.
Room was very large, with all amenities.
Heater was too small for room size – impossible to get really warm.
TV reception was awful – LCD TV but just rubbish aerial.
