Very homy
This hostel was build in 1870 and has been completely restored. The owners want it to be a home away from home and they did it well. It's near Hagley Park, where you can take the hostel dogs for a walk. It's about 15 minutes from the City Centre. This hostel is a Historical Christchurch Landmark and it's a great place to come to rest after a long time of travelling.
Unique Quality: Modern kitchen, 9 bathrooms, laundry, 18 bedrooms, large garden area, big lounge with log fire and tv, off street parking, internet, mail service, travel bookings and luggage storage.

The Hostel is only fifteen minutes walk from Cathedral Square, the centre of Christchurch. It is 50 metres from the Avon River, and Hagley Park a peaceful haven in central Christchurch, the garden city of New Zealand. A five minute walk and you have access to cafes, bars and restaurants and the cultural area of the city - arts centre, museum and botanical gardens.
