Bits and Pieces
by fishandchips
As with most cities there are a number of icons, murals and sculptures hidden in and around Christchurch. All through Hagley Park and the Botanic gardens there are a large number of iconic sculptures and bits of iron and marble worked into fancy shapes. In the middle of town there is everything from carvings within the Bridge of Remembrance to a sculpture outside the Central Fire station in memory of the help the Christchurch Fire boys did to help after the 11 September mess in New York, USA.

This is the Moeraki Boulders....
by canuckcj
This is the Moeraki Boulders. This is a strange phenonom. I think it has happened years ago with lava or something along those lines. Different temperatures with the air mixing with water and of course different minerals in the rock. It has been years...so this could be a lie.
Liquidity
by fishandchips about Liquidity
Located on the Strip on Oxford Tce, Liqudity is an okay place to go for a big night out. Liquidity is a restaurant by day and house club by night. It has a good atmosphere and is well designed including the option of a quiet intimate drink in the booths. During the day the restaurant serves full meals, and at night a Tapas menu is available.
Resident DJ Andy Pulzar also runs a local radio station, Pulzar FM, and he plays mainly House. He is a well regarded DJ so shouldn't disappoint. Smart Casual
