A good place to stay
Being a bit out of town the Alpine View is quieter than many in Kaikoura. The area is more industrial so the views are not as nice as some however as Kaikoura is a small place it's easy to just walk & find a better view. The place has a BBQ area and kids playground but nothing too exciting. The owners, Anne & Paul, were easy to deal with and nothing seemed to be a problem.

Self Contained and clean
All twelve spacious studio and family motel apartments are ground floor, and set away from the road in a lawn and garden setting. All are fully self-contained and serviced daily, with Telephone, Sky TV, Heating, Microwave, Hairdryer, and Electric Blankets as standard. There is also a children's playground, gas barbeque and guest laundry, and a cot and high chair are also available if required.
These motels have parking available off-road - right outside your unit, or courtesy transport is available from train and bus stations.....just ask!
