Okay, but slightly overpriced

Good (3.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on January 7, 2011

This is a chain motel that we have stayed at in other parts of NZ.

Decent rooms, and good people running the place, but I thought it was a little overpriced. Maybe they had jacked up their prices at the time of year we visited, and I did notice a lot of 'no vacancy' signs outside the various Kaikoura motels.

Shortish walk into town, but we drove, Kaikoura being one of those places where it is generally easy enough to park on the main street.
