Te Hapu: Te Hapu, the land that time forgot

We worked at Te Hapu as WWOOFers (Willing Workers on Organic Farms) in 1998 and came back for a visit in 2002. We'll be going back again in 2004, with parents in tow.

Sandra and Ken Closs have a range of wee homes to house a family of any size. Their 1,000 acre sheep and cattle farm sits on the Tasman Sea, just below the W(h)anganui Inlet. On any given day, Te Hapu can be calm and gentle or wet and wild.

Their rates are great and Sandra runs a tight ship, you won't find a speck of dirt or detail left undone.

Amazing sea cliffs, beaches, paddocks, etc.

Staying at Te Hapu changed the way Iook at the world and my values in it.
