Paradiso is a great hostel to chill out. It has a pool, really good rooms, hammocks for lazing around in, a big big kitchen and a good area to chill out having a beer and meeting people. You can even stay in a converted bus in the back garden.

There are several wineries and vineyards scattered around Nelson. With its warm ideal climate for growing grapes Nelson has become New Zealands fastest growing wine region.
Enjoy a scenic drive through Nelsons wine trail and be sure to visit one of its many wineries and taste some of New Zealands best wines.
Nelson is a nice small town in the north west of the south island. Its a useful base to explore the national parks nearby such as abel tasman.
Theres a few beaches up this way and this area has one of New Zealands best climates.
