Helpfulness
Nice and clean
The Distinction is clean and the staff are friendly. I would have expected at least some plates and cutlery in the room but that you have to ask for. Bathroom was reasonably clean. Reminded me of a 70's style bathroom, but it served its purpose. Probably best as a one night stay

Nice hotel which has a good location
This is a very nice and clean hotel which is centrally located along the main road of Te Anau near to the bus depot, shopping area as well as the Lake Te Anau. The hotel also has a souvenir shop and serves very good breakfast. I find the staff very friendly and helpful as well.
