Noah's is the place to stay!
Very cool backpacker! The house is old and beautiful. (and worn...;)) And we got a tidy, big room. The rooms has different animal thems, and we got the giraffe one. We didn't use any of their facilities, so can't comment on that. But off what we saw, it was the absolutly nicest backpacker we have stayed at!
Unique Quality: Beautiful House, (a dreamhouse) beautiful rooms, and fun thems on them! And if I remember right the stuff was great!
A touch of colour in Greymouth
Each room in dedicated to a different animal- from huge painted murals that make up the walls to stuffed animals and posters. It was a cheerful and comfortable place in a grey town. Lunge with TV, fine showers, etc.
Unique Quality: It used to be a monestary, perhaps a link with the Biblical name?
Directions: Up a hill
A unique hostel in a unique country
I spent a very comfortable night in the Sheep Room! The kitchens are big and clean with lots of preparation area and well equipped. There is a lounge with big comfy sofa's and a big screen tv. What more do you need to make your stay comfortable ...
Unique Quality: The owners of Noahs Ark Backpackers have gone to a great deal of effort to make this place 1 of a kind. Each dorm has a specific animal theme and the walls are covered with pictures of the animals.
Situated just 100 metres from the center of town, sky TV, free pickup, $3 all you can eat BBQ, pickup and drop off and off course the animal themed rooms.
Doubles, twins, dorms and tent sites.
Rooms were fantastic and staff very friendly only stayed the night, only wish you can take this hostel around the country with you.
Unique Quality: All rooms are animal themed.
Although the tiger room looked a bit kinky for me luckily i was in the Monkey room, but im not sure what that said about me.
