Stuart Nimmo Gallery
I can't quite remember the address of this place, but the name should be enough to find it, and it was on a main street, not far from the river.
The photography inside (most quite large and framed) I found simply spectacular.

Stretching from the south banks of the Punakaiki River in the north to the Taramakau River in the south and out to Moana and the Little Grey River at Ikamatua in the Grey Valley. The West Coast of the Southern Alps is a natural adventure playground set in some of New Zealand's most spectacular scenery. Greymouth is the ideal base for activities on the Coast due to its central location.
However we went to Grey Mouth to visit the pancake rocks which sounded so interesting!
Greymouth lies beside the Tasman Sea and the Grey River. It is the geographic and commercial heart of the West Coast, with the largest population. Today it is seen as an ideal base to explore the beautiful region of the West Coast.
We had planned this trip for a wee while, as I had never been to the West Coast of the South Island. We flew down to Christchurch, got the Tranz Alpine across to Greymouth, spent a couple of days there, and then flew back to Wellington from Westport.
A great trip, and I loved Monteiths brewery.
Dull, damp, and grey.
But the hostel we stayed in was fantastic!
and the food in the local pub brilliant value too.
Wouldnt stay longer than 2 days in any circumstances, didnt seem enough to do there.
But maybe i was wrong?
