Tenikau Retreat: Selection of lovely retreats

Have a look at the website of these places to the range of Retreats they offer because I am sure there is something to suit everyone.

We stayed in the YHA hostel section of their properties and were treated to a lovely homely type hideaway with a wood burner and fully equipped facilities. The added treat was freshly baked muffins and the wee shop relies on the honesty system of payment. That's how things should be isnt it!?!?

The Welsh lady who welcomed us was warm and friendly.

The location is a short drive from the wonderful sight of the Pancake rocks but worth being away from any crowds to be next to a rainforest at the start of the Truman track which takes you to Pebble Beach. A 15 min walk at sunset or dawn is worth it.

Te Nikau Retreat: Very relaxing

Homemade bread, fresh muffins, 10 minutes walk to beach, small wooden cabins, comfortable rooms, log fire and a great atmosphere. The hostel is also part of the WWOOF (Willing Workers On Organic Farms).
