Get to Saipan by Air
by Eurasian68
By air, Saipan is only 25 minutes from Guam, three and a half hours from Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka and Sendai;
four hours from Sapporo, Seoul, Pusan, Taipei and Manila;
five hours from Hong Kong;
five and a half hours from Cairns, Australia;
six hours from Bali. The plane ride from Guam to Saipan on a small propeller plane! Scary but FUN!
Mt. Tagopochau
by kenmerk
You can either drive or hike to the top of the island at Mt. Tagopochau. From here there are great views of the whole island...
Every Easter, the locals lug a large wooden cross and plant it at the top of this mountain.

"Yeah,SaipanIsRightThereAtTheFiveO'ClockPosition..."
....if that biggest 'red-splotch' is a 'clock', Saipan would be down there to the right in about the 5 O'clock position. And, remember, clouds, rains, and thus storms, come in for the EAST!
[there's a little bit of 'white-marking' where Saipan is, if you look close enough...]
