Airai Water Paradise Hotel & Spa Palau: Tropical island, truly a wonderful vacation

by Yukiaiko

A great experience !!! Will stay longer next time
For young children, this is a fabulous place to stay and enjoy. My friend and I were stayed at Airai Water Paradise Hotel & Spa without our husbands but with our little ones, we stayed just 3 nights and yet, it was a fun and safe place for us, we swam everyday with two water park pools the one is Olympic size That fits for us and the other one is Spa pool with white sand beach and my kid loves to build a sand castle. I couldn’t stop him to play to a 700 degrees water slides. We tried Some Teriyaki pizza I was surprised coz my kid almost ate the whole pizza ha ha ha!!The fresh coconut juice was good. Also the banana leaf chicken was tasteful, the pesto sauce with mixed nuts yummy!!! At night we used to go at the pool site and looks the beautiful stars my kids said “ Mama it looks like a diamond in the sky” it’s been a wonderful vacation. We felt like we owned the hotel. Last but not the least i'am so amazed the big wood carving at the lobby. We will never forget those times, Thank you to all the staffs they had been courteous, helpful and friendly especially the reception lady's.
I would return in a heart-beat and will take my husband there to have a longer Vacation again next time.

All employee kept us smiling all throughout our stay in this tropical
hotel under the gorgeous blue skies. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Biggest wood Carving in Palau, the Water Park, Spa pool and Restaurant.

Airai Water Paradise Hotel: Happy Palau Memory

by cyn100

I would highly recommend this hotel because of the lovely people there. During the 4 days we stayed there, all waiters. reception clerks and even guard greeted us in a passionate tone. My sisters were very happy. Before we chose this hotel, they were a little bit worried because they could not speak English so well. But they were totally relieved after we checked-in for all the staffs were very helpful and understanding.
On top of that, I personally enjoyed the traditional wood carvings at the hotel The manager, a young lady, told me that they have the biggest story board in Palau. I was shocked as I saw that . The historical feeling gave us total different view point of Palau. I, as a history teacher, appreciated this kind of feeling. This is another reason why I want to recommend this hotel.
Last but not least, we saw many kids playing at their water slides. Unfortunately, we were too old to try the exciting things. However, we did have a great time at the huge swimming pool aside. Especially in the early morning and night time. The air in the early morning was so fresh! The stars at night were so shiny!
I will certainly stay in this hotel again.Maybe together with my husband and sons next year!

Satisfying service-they remembered each of our name and whether we were vegetarian.
Great pool side-beautiful view.

Palau Pacific Resort: the best place to stay in Palau

by uysijessa

as my boss says, the palau pacific resort is the only hotel/resort to consider when staying in palau. this is true especially if money is no object. although on the expensive side, a stay at this resort is worth every penny from the amazingly cool bathroom (complete with electronic thingamajigs for the water closet!) to the great views of the pacific ocean from your balcony or patio to the uber friendly staff to the best beach in the area there's really nothing bad to stay about this place except the price. hehe.

i love the little mint chocolate bar they leave on your pillow every night when they do turn down services.

Palau Pacific Resort: Palau

by bobbynish

You have to keep in mind this was a scuba diving vacation. Palau is predominantly a diver's destination but there is plenty explore for non-divers. I have to say this resort is one of the nicest and prettiest on the island, but that beauty also come with a price... Not ultra pricey but not cheap by any means. if you can afford it, you won't be disappointed. The rooms are spacious with great views of the ocean. Plenty of closet space, especially nice if you have dive gear. The entire grounds are manicured to perfection, a tropical paradise. The resort offers all the amenities including a beautiful pool, delicious restaurant & bar, hair salon, spa, gift shops, etc. Once you arrive you are welcomed by the staff with a fresh fruit cocktail and checking in is a breeze. They also have a small room off their beautiful lobby with computers. So if you feel the need to get online you can.

The pool area is gorgeous, the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail while enjoying the sunset. The restaurant off the pool is open air, so you can enjoy the sunsets from inside as well while enjoying a meal. The seafood is fresh and fantastic! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, all are great. The tuna carpaccio i had one night was to die for. This is a 5 star resort with 5 star service, can't be beat!

Landmark Marina Hotel: Koror's "on the water" hotel

by iamstu72

We arrived late at night (around 9:30 PM) and the entire hotel staff + hotel manager were waiting for us. They handed each of us a tropical drink and a cool, damp washcloth. Check in was very easy, quick, and done with the best customer service in mind. Our hotel rooms had a small but comfortable second bed set up for our 13 year old son. Our bed was queen sized. The comforter and pillow were VERY comfortable. The room came equipped with a large flat screen TV with about 10 cable channels as well as a channel specifically centered on the history of Palau and things to do during your visit. The room had hard wood floors which was very convenient because the hotel it's own marina/dock and we weren't afraid to drip in the room. The bathroom had a nice travel kit set up and the stand up shower (BEAUTIFUL) had shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel that smelled fantastic - so you don't need to pack very many toiletries. Our room came with a breakfast every morning - which in some places we've stayed is minimal to say the least. However, the LMH had a huge breakfast buffet available that included the regular fare (eggs, toast, breakfast meats, cereal) but also touched on some local foods as well (fresh fruits from the island, sweet cakes made from the local coconuts, etc) plus much more that changes daily. We had dinner twice at the hotel's restaurant. The selection of the menu was great and they have wonderful chef's there. The bar is stocked with anything you can imagine. We got to know our bartender, Dez, who greeted us by name each night. The views from anywhere in the hotel are great (I will admit our balcony had a view of a dive company but it wasn't horrible). You can take your meals in the air conditioned restaurant, outside on the veranda, or even on the dock - where the tables have umbrellas to block any sun. I would recommend this hotel above any of the other resorts because of the price, customer service, atmosphere, and in large part the hotel manager, William. Definitely 4 stars!!

The LMH has it's own marina, and therefor it's own dock. This is very convenient for visitors who'd like to take boating tours, kayak, snorkel, or just even take a quick swim before dinner. The rooms have a nice island decor (think tropical blues and blonde wood), large wide screen TVs, queen size beds (some in our group had rooms with two twin beds), extra beds that can be set up are also comfortable. The hotel's restaurant has a wide variety of dishes (from hamburgers to lobster) and an excellent breakfast buffet (though you can order off the breakfast menu). And most of all, the entire staff of LMH center around the best customer service we've ever had. Having said all that, I would like to mention that one of the main highlights of our stay in Palau was the manager of the Landmark Marina Hotel, William Tsung. If there was anything - anything - we needed, we just went to William and he would make it happen. For example; we were traveling with a group of 39 people and we ended up having an extra day in Palau. A couple of us had talked about wanting to arrange an all day snorkeling tour. We didn't even know where to begin. William overheard this and within the hour had an entire tour set up for us the next day. He even procured an underwater digital camera/videocam for my husband and I AND he put it on CD/DVD for us by the evening we returned from the tour. I mean...THAT'S GREAT SERVICE!! William went out of his way to make it a memorable stay for each of the 39 people we were traveling with.

Lehns Apartment: Clean and unfussed budget apartment

by juliewong

To get to Lehns Apartment, you have to walk to a winding path. On the way to the apartment, there is a Koror Elementary school you will pass by and a Chinese eatery serving Shanghainese noodles. Plenty of greens around the apartment area.

Each apartment unit comes with either double rooms or single room, furnished with a kitchenette, refrigerator, a living room with TV and a bathroom. Basic equipment provided at the apartment include towels, tap water, basic utensils such as pot, plates and a few cups.

West Plaza Desekel: In Town

by pangelipc

It was convenient and clean. Close to the Palau College, banks, post office, & everything since it was in town. Below the hotel was a supermarket. But there is no pool.

Clean. Good airconditioning in room. Free coffee brewed in small lobby.

Palau Pacific Resort: Palau Pacific Resort

by geekgrrl

This is a first class hotel with beautiful grounds, lovely rooms, and excellent service. I have provided many photos of the hotel in the rest of this site.

The fish pond on the grounds is only 3' deep and contains blue star fish and a couple of manta rays, one of which would come to the side of the pond when you slapped the water and would allow us to pet it!
