Independence Park
Independence Park is just up the road from the Post Office in Port Vila. It is a nice big park with play ground equipment for kids and just next to it is a sporting ground where we saw cricket, soccer and rugby being played.

By far my most favourite out of all of the tropical islands I have visited. It seems like it is almost unheard of, untouched, and undiscovered. All of the other south pacific islands have been tainted by massive company's, where as in Vanuatu, the only major label I saw apart from alchohol, cigarettes, and fake clothing, was Coca Cola. It was wierd walking into a gas station to buy a drink, and seeing three different types, and thats it! I mean, in NZ we allways have about 20 different types of drinks to choose from, and I know that number grows in alot of places overseas, but not this place. It has such a warm climate and is well worth a visit, I would go back any day, in fact, if I could get a job, I would live there too!
