The Rich and Famous Celebrity Island
"Life in Anguilla as a foreigner!"
Life in Anguilla is not typical to other Caribbean islands. Anguilla is very small, 3 miles wide and 16 miles long. It takes me about 2 hours to cover every nook and corner. That includes stopping to visit resorts or hotels or take a great picture of an unforgettable view. Nationals are British citizens since Anguilla is a British Virgin Island. The island has the most beautiful beaches I've seen and trust me. Being from the Caribbean, I've seen lots of beaches. The water is unbeliveably clear. You see the bottom! And it is so blue, emerald, and gives you the perfect reflection of the sky.
There is no public transportation except for your taxi. Everyone owns at least 2-3 vehicles since the island is very economically stable. Living expenses is high, but the US dollars flows through here like a stream.
You'll occasionally catch a glimpse of the celebs who make here their second homes. For such a small airport, it is quite unbelievable how many private jets nestle here for any given time of the year. The weather is great all year round. It is very hot! Anguilla sells itself once it is visited.
No need to do any major advertising. You'll find here uniquely amazing.
It is famous for the beaches, boat races, music festivities, resorts and restaurants. Your next stop might just be Anguilla.
