GREAT LOCATION

What a great find. Marjorie and her son host this lovely family Inn. We had a one bdrm second floor apt. overlooking the ocean. The rooms were spacious with large master bdrm/bath. Another bath off the living area and kitchen. Expansive balconies were great for watching the ferries come and go and views of St. Martins. Our rooms were cleaned everyday except Sunday and were nicely furnished. Marjorie had homemade bread, juice, fruit and crackers waiting for us when we arrived. Christian was great with local tips and also served lunch and dinner at the oceanfront restaurant at the Ferryboat Inn. The beach in front of the Inn felt like it was all ours everyday. No rushing for beach chairs...Most days our footprints in the sand were the only ones. Marjorie's family dogs were a treat for us. They hung out with us on the beach and watched over us during our stay. Nothing fancy here, just a great place, great location and really great people...

Unique Quality: The views of St. Martins were lovely. Every morning you could watch the fog lift from the mountains to uncover the rainforest of St. Martins. The Ferries cross everyday so you do hear them quite clearly. It didnt bother us, but some may tire of the older ferries as their engines are abit loud. And where would you ever see cows visiting the beach? Thats right cows!!!

  • Opinion of Price: less expensive than average
