Rex Halycon Cove

Reasonable with Great Location

We hav stopped at the Rex Halcyon Cove for the our last 2 trips to Antigua. On our first trip the hotel was lovely with the staff very friendly and great food ( scottish chef) and the drinks wre free flowing.
The second time we stopped there we were a bit disappointed with the hotel. The hotel in 3 years started to look very dated and in need of refurbishment. The staff were still as friendly but the management had changed.

Unique Quality: The 2 best things about the Rex Halcyon Cove are:- the Wari Pier Restaurant which is actually situated out in the bay and at night is lit up lovely by light and candles on tables. The second thing is that the hotel is situated directly onto dickenson Bay beach *****THE BEST BEACH ON ANTIGUA***** There are 2 beach bars on the beach just between The Rex and Sandals. The one nearest Sandals ( mouse's bar) is the best in our opinion.
