More about Coconut Inn

Affordable Aruba

by flynboxes about Coconut Inn

Stayed here for two nights. Mr. Angel Rojer is the manager of the place and a very nice guy. This is probably the cheapest place on the island for a short stay. While it is not on the beach it is close enough and away from all the other tourists so you can enjoy some quiet nights here. Room was 74.70 less tax of 17.5% but that is still a deal. Our room had A/C, small frig, hot plate..the usual stuff in a small kitchenette. Only thing I did not like was the beds were a bit on the hard side but I have slept on much worse and for the price I think this place is a deal. Please note if you want to reserve a room it is probably better to call or fax a request in as Angel is a little slow at replying to email requests. It is Cheap for a Aruba..close enough yet far away enough to make it a very pleasent place to stay. There is a Chinese place with affordable meals across the street also if you are too tired to walk into town after a day at the beach. If I had to go back I would stay here again.

by flynboxes about Lings Bar and Restaurant

This place was across the street from our hotel the Coconut Inn. Food was filling and tasty..owner was friendly even considering we were the only tourists inside with the football games being played in the field on the other side of the street. It is open from 11am to midnight. They also do takeout in case you want to enjoy a meal at the pool across the street at the Coconut Inn if you happen to be staying there I had the delux chow mein and two spring rolls which was more than enough food. It is a local place since it is not on the tourist circut so if you are the friendly/chatty type it is a great place to meet some locals and make new friends or get some tips on what to do on the island.
