Best lodging in Bermudian Landing, Belize. We enjoyed our home-cooked treats. They have a trail on their backyard. We also went on a crocodile trip at night - awesome!
The swimming pool was great! Its tucked in the jungle where the monkeys come to feed.
This is hotel I saw while we were enroute to the Altun Ha Mayan Ruins. It's close to the international airport. It is located along the Northern highway.
It is inexpensive and great for budget travellers. I am not sure about the prices or the accommodation. I can only tell you about the location that it is close to the airport and very accessible to the bus station of Flores Bus and accessible to Altun Ha.
If you happen to be in Belize city this is a very nice, clean and friendly place to stay. Keep an eye out for the crazy lady walking the streets she just screams nasties all day and night as she walks.
Clean, safe and comfortable with very friendly helpful owners.
With reasonable room rate excellent service and facilities for diver to wash and hang equipment.
You have excellent Ocean and a neat, lovely grave yard in the view.
The Colton house is a comfortable, elegant guest house in the Fort George neighborhood of Belize City. This is not the place for a noisy loud guest but it is a clean comfortable place to stay.
The hosts Alan and Ondina Colton are very nice and can give great advice about where to eat, and what to see.
Alan is a Homebrewer so if, like me, you brew you can have a nice conversation over one of his well crafted beers.
This is a place for a relaxing place to stay. Loud guests should go elsewhere and children under 9 are not allowed.
It might be one of the cheapest places in town, it is also one of the dirtiest! Fortunately I had some experience with these kind of hotels.... I paid $7,5 per person for room withouth private bath.
I found this website that has a pretty good list of the Belize City hotels and Bed & Breakfasts. I wish I would have found this website earlier, because I noticed that the Colton House has a kitchen in one of the guest rooms, which would have been really good for me!
Well, my introduction says it all already. Very low standard - that's what you get for a high price. Anyway, after all the city is not a place to stay longer than a few days, so it's all right. I am not sure if I want to recommend the Downtown Guesthouse, but if you don't have any other options check it out.
20 B$ a night. Pretty expensive for that hole, but you won't find anything cheaper.
Everything is unique there. At least i had never seen such an accommodation before.
