Several Caye Caulker businesses have been nominated for the BTB's tourism awards.
Earlier this year, the Belize Times newspaper nominated the Auxillou Beach Suites for the award of Small Hotel of the Year. Also nominated for awards are Seaside Cabanas for Hotel of the Year, Ragamuffin Tours for Tour Operator of the Year, Rico Novelo of Anwar Tours for Tour Guide of the Year and Nerina Yam, Manager of Auxillou Beach Suites for Frontline Person of the Year.
The Tourism Awards will be held next year on January 26, 2007. Deadline to submit nominations is Deceber 29, 2006.
