Water Depth

How deep is this water? And is it appropriate for children.

The beaches right off of San Pedro aren't great for swimming, but they are shallow enough for children. The snorkelling areas such as the Marine Reserve are a boat ride away.

We just came back from San Pedro last week and the snorkeling is great. Shark Ray Alley and Hol Chan have depths of 1-30 feet. Suggest that if you go use Lil Alphonse, he's the best guide and explains everything about the reef. Have fun. We did.

"Reef Village 2008!"

Happy New Year San Pedro!

Christmas week on the island was just a ball.Thanks to everyone who made our trip special!

I'll be working on this page mostly for a while so keep checking back as new photos will be up now and again

"the pooldeck"

Reef village has a pool deck on a little island in the middle of the lagoon.This is where we spent most of our time.

As of fall 08 the restaurant and gift shop are open around the pool deck.Once construction is finished in a few years this will be a beautiful part of the island.There are promises of a beach club on the oceanfront one day....

"And the pool Bar!"

Another reason tho linger at the pool.Say hello the James "007" at the bar for us if you're passing by.
