A wonderful resort for a honeymoon (we honeymooned here) or a gathering of friends. The resort only has 12 huts with a maximum of 24 guest on site at a time. It also boast beautiful tropical plants and a small pool. Everyone on the staff knows your name and the owners dine with you nightly at gourmet meals. I cannot imagine anyone ever being dissapointed with a stay here.
Mopan is all inclusive, including drinks, mini bar and tours (even Tikal). You must pay guide fees and border fees. Tipping is not accepted

I recommend this resort, especially for people who don't like to plan all the details of their vacations or for people who don't have enough time. They'll pick you up from the airport and take you back, no charge, and they provide all your drinks and meals and transportation and guides to various Mayan ruins (except Tikal, where you have to pay for your Guatemalan guide).
They have a pool that's open all hours, and they have a bird watching tower. They provide all meals and drinks (including alcoholic drinks).
You stay in a thatched-roof cabana. Twice a week, they have musicians come into the lodge and play, and every night you sip on their "banana velvets" (so yummy) or other drinks. There are beautiful views from each cabana, and they have kayaks for kayaking down the Mopan River.
