Hi-et

The Hi-Et (pronounced like Hyatt) is a very nice place to stay just opposite of the street of famous Martha’s (guesthouse and restaurant).
Martha's was full, so this was our choice.
They serve you breakfast, with fruits and marmeldade.
However, as it can be quite hot and humid, please check if they have installed AC by now.
The room was simple but clean, shared bathroom on the floor.

Directions: Just across the street of famous Martha's - in the middle of town.

Live with a local family in their home. Boarding house style. Very friendly. Comfortable and safe. No AC.

Unique Quality: Across the street from Martha's who serve the best food in San Ignacio...Plus its a hoot saying your staying at the Hi Et (ie...Hyatt)

Directions: Up the hill from Turner Street. Look for the "Hi Et" sign...Large, yellow home on the corner across from Martha's.
