Paradise: Paradise is just around the corner
Tobacco Caye is a very, I repeat, a very small island with limited accommodation selections and while saying that, the small hotels take up all of the land on the island. You may pay more at other hotels on the island but honestly your not getting anything more for your money. All of the hotels on the island, with the exception of one, include three meals per day and DOES NOT include alcohol. This can be purchased at the small stand or the bar on the island. Paradise has a room on the second floor for $25. US per night per person. They offer bungalows right at the waters edge actually in the water for $35. PP per night or $50 for a single. All prices are in US dollars. They do accept visa and master card as well as US and Belizian funds.
The meals are usually wonderfully prepared by Leah your cook who will also snorkel with you when she has time. I especially like the coconut rice and johnny cakes.
Unique Quality: Because the island is so small it makes for a unique experience. One that is hard to duplicate anywhere else. The snorkeling is good on the leeward side of the reef but much better on the reef. You will need a guide but be clear on the price you are paying.
