Tortola's Little Secret
Luxurious setting overlooking Jost Van Dyke and on the 'quiet' side of Tortola. The Sugarmill has knowledgeable staff and helpful management. Unfortunately, I took ill on a Saturday during our stay and the manager called her doctor and was able to get an appointment immediately. The doctor was very helpful and I was able to enjoy the facilities and the island.
Additionally, a free bottle of very good rum comes with every room.
Unique Quality: The dining room sits in the open air of the original sugar mill. Food is good, not exceptional.
Beach leaves much to be desired, although the view is tremendous. The fact that it is just down the road, within walking distance of the Bomba Shack is a plus.
