    Lovely, Affordable, Luxury

    by

WOW! Where to begin about my stay at Guavaberry. The accomodations are akin to Treehouse living with screened and louvred walls that admit the cool Caribbean breeze, but close for privacy. Each home is fully furnished with one or more bedrooms, living room, kitchen/dining area, and an open sun deck. Each home offers a unique view of the neighboring islands and all share access to a private stretch of beach that has many of the same boulders located at the neighboring Baths.

There is a comissary on site that works on the honor system. Also there are floaties and snorkel equipment available for rent. There is high speed internet access available 24 hours if you have your own computer and a nice TV area in the main office.

One of the greatest things about Guavaberry is the beauty and privacy they offer, but also they are very close to Town and local restaurants and are only one beach down from the world famous Baths, which offer you an opportunity to see them before the loads of tourists arrive.

    Popular villas above Spring Bay

    by

For 2 or more people traveling together, the Guavaberrry Spring Bay Vacation Homes are a great choice. They are lovely self-contained individual villas. Although the main living quarters don't have huge square footage, they do have very open floorplans with large outdoor furnished decks up high.

As with all Caribbean accomodations, rates vary a great deal from low season to high season. See web site below for current rates.

Unique Quality: The big screened windows & louvered walls open up your living space to the trade winds, yet the creative way in which they are situated gives them maximum privacy. The photo I have attached below is the best view I could get of one of the villas from the winding driveway below, to give you an idea of the privacy.
Guavaberry Villas use the lovely Spring Bay as their main beach (see supplemental photos attached to this tip). which is across the road and down a trail. Only once a week is there much heavy use of this beach, when Little DIx Bay has its weekly BBQ. The rest of the time, most of the tourists go a little further down the road to the famous Baths (see Things To Do tip), at the national park that adjoins Spring Bay.

Directions: Follow the signs toward the Baths, and keep an eye out on the right for the sign at the entrance to the main office driveway. The villas themselves are mostly spread out across the hillside on the opposite side of the road.
