Boater's heaven at the end of North Sound Road

Leverick Bay Resort & Marina is a really good value in a full service resort with spa, beach volleyball & tennis courts on premises. Accommodations include hotel suites (with small refrigerator, coffee maker, air conditioning, cable TV, telephone, safe & balcony) and private villas, as well as docking slips for boaters.
Leverick Bay Watersports & Dive BVI both have shops located in the marina shopping mall. There are also the Chef's Pantry for food & provisions and various galleries. A free swapping library is available in the hotel lobby for guests, and baby sitting services can be arranged for you too.

Unique Quality: Leverick Bay Resort is in a prime location on the huge sheltered North Sound Bay. The hotel suites & villas spill down a steep hilside to the marina, with it's small mall & superb dining both outdoors by the dockside & on the upstairs terrace. The architecture & landscaping are charming (see my photos below), and you can while away hours watching the yachts come & go. This is really a resort for boat lovers, and you can even rent a Boston Whaler to do your own self-guided dock pub crawl in nearby North Sound. It would be a fun place to stay!

The resort has a primarily rocky shoreline (so no sand fleas, yay) with lots of sailboats and other watersport vehicles around, so I don't think swimming is advisable right here outside of their pool. Although there is a very small sandy beach area they've created for sunning & paddling around a bit. So if you want to swim & snorkel, rent one of those Boston Whalers & motor off to a beach over by North Sound, or find your own private beach on one of the lovely small islets the are all around in the Sound.

The North Sound Express Ferries stop here twice a day, and they provide a great way to visit Spanish Town, Trellis Bay, or Bitter End for a day trip.
