Condos above Handsome Bay

Studios & 1-2-3 bedroom units available leased by owners through a management association (see website below). Onsite: 56' pool, whirlpool, dining facility at Sip 'N Dip Bar and Grill, fitness center, salon & day spa, & laundromat (guess there aren't W/D's in the units!), so you'd never have to leave the Village if you didn't wish to. In multi-bedroom units, each bedroom has a private bathroom.

Unique Quality: If you wish to stay longer term on the island, and you have a family with you, I could see where these condos might be a good choice. Though frankly considering the location, I feel they are a bit overpriced. To be fair, they are relatively new, and I'm sure they have some pretty fine views from the balconies off the back side.

Lovely Savannah Beach (see Things To Do tip) is about a mile down the road, for excellent swimming & snorkeling when the winds & curents permit, but this bay is a bit more exposed to the elements than Little Dix Bay. There are some shops nearby up on the hill, including a grocery store not far downt he road to the south, and the airport is only a few minutes away (with the Flying Iguana Restaurant & Bar, a local favorite that overlooks the airport landing strip). Handsome Bay is across the road and down a drive, but it's really more water access for local fishermen and small boaters than a beach per se.
