It's not the cheapest place on the beach so fortunately it wasn't on my tab. The Westin was great! It had great pools, beach, staff and food. I would stay there again.
Although my room didn't have a view of the ocean, it did have a room of the Govenor's mansion next door.

Really nice hotel.There was a piano player there every night or so.If you stayed for a long enough period of time, they would leave little Tortuga Rum Cakes on your pillow!Yum.The staff was real friendly too.The beach was close unlike the Hyatt where most rooms are on the other side of the street.The drinks were sort of expensive,but hey everything is expensive there. Always fun and accomodating. Cool people. We have been here 5 times and are going again Thanksgiving 2005.

The Westin Casuarina, located next to the Governor's Residence is right on Seven Mile Beach. The service was outstanding, particularly at the piano bar. The Staff is attentive and the hotel offers a full set of amenities.
Restaurant food is outstanding as well.
A large pool serves as a great alternative to the warm, crystal clear waters of the Carribean.
Red Sail Watersports is onsite and can assist with Dive packages or trips to Stingray Sandbar (or city). I took a Discover Scuba course with them and it was fantastic. I have since become certified and cannot wait to return.
Avis has a car rental on-site which makes it easy to get a car to explore the island. While the Open Air Jeep may be appealing, it will be hot. Consider a regular car with Airconditioning if the heat bothers you. This truly is a complete resort. Wide, white sand beach, spa treatments, swim up pool bar, great lobby and a friendly staff.
AAA does not give this property 4 diamonds for nothing.

Very pleasant accommodations right on Seven Mile Beach. Our group was going to stay at the Ritz but the hotel rooms are not near the beach but on the other side of the road. This was definitely the better choice. We enjoyed the swim up bar and it was very near cemetery reef which was nice for snorkeling.
