    In April 2000 it was about $215 a night for a 2 bedroom villa that slept 5 comfortably.

    Great view of the sea...located right on the beach. Nice pool available as well. All villas are furnished and have full kitchens. The best feature of this place is the location. It's away from all the crowds that fill Seven Mile Beach.

  • Directions: Located on a deserted white sandy beach on the north shore Villa Pappagallo is a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. The diving off shore is considered to be the best around, the beach is protected

    • I won't recommend any of them. They are all outrageously priced. Try an auction for timeshares. We got a week long stay in a 2 bedroom for $300.00 US. If we had done that normally it would have been $300.00 per night.

    The Hyatt on Grand Cayman was newly built when I was last there. It was an idyllic setting back then and I am sure it is equally as luxurious now

    There are a number of nice looking places toward the North end of Seven Mile Beach. The beaches there are nice and relatively quiet. If you like Miami stay toward the south end of Seven Mile near the Hyatt, etc.

    As I mentioned, I visited Cayman Islands via a cruise ship, Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas. I gave cruised the Carbbean several times, and it's my opinion you are able to find which islands you prefer. All the islands have their own different flavors.

    In addition to being able to see different islands, the cruising experience itself is wonderful. There is excellent food to be had 24 hours a day and there truly is something for everyone to do (or if don't want to do anything at all).

    Here's the view from the master bedroom. The second bedroom is on the back side of the condo and the windows face out to the parking lot.

    The Ocean front rooms are right on the beach and have a great view of the ocean. The beach front rooms are the ones in the center that have grass in front of them and look out over the pool. Still pretty a good view of the ocean but you are looking over the pool.

    The picture below shows the Oceanfront condos.

    The condos are just a couple of years old so they're very modern. Very clean and well decorated. They are on the South end of 7 mile beach so it's pretty quite. There were never more than about 7 people on the beach and most of the time it was just the 2 of us. I did a lot of research before choosing Grandview and after seeing all the other condos was really happy we decided to stay there.

    We are divers and you can't have a better location for diving. Treasure Island Divers is literally right next door. We walked almost the entire length of 7 mile beach and did not see another resort with it's own dock. I think most of the operators pick you up in a van and take you to a dock near Georgetown. Definetely not as scenic.

    • The Westin is located next door to the Governor's mansion. The most beautiful strip of 7 mile beach is located here.

    Spa, pool, massage, hot tubs, swim up bar, service. Piano bar in lobby.
