Just returned from a holiday at this hotel - four adults and one child. The hotel is kept very clean both inside and outside. Rooms are serviced daily and bedding changed every day. Staff were very friendly and couldn't be faulted. Food was wonderful with a good variety every night. Overall a very good holiday if you want to have good food and a thoroughly enjoyable time with your FAMILY this is definately one not to miss.

We loved this Hotel

We fell in love with the people of Costa Rica. They are so laid back and easy going we wish that would rub off on us. Costa Rica itself is absolutely beautiful!
I would stay at the hotel Aeropuerto every time I go to Costa Rica it was amazing, they give you free airport shuttle 24 hours, free internet, really big room with big beds and the customer service is incredible.
In the morning you can open the window and watch the birds and the mango trees it is a experince to remember and the best is they make you feel safe with their security staff all night long.

Unique Quality: The have green areas around the hotel, restaurant, pool, free wi-fi, they make your boarding passes

Alajuela, city outside the city

Alajuela is a nice little city about 15 km west of San Jose. I stayed here because it is convenient to the airport and I have an early flight AND the taxis charge USD$13 for a ride to the airport. As it turns out, it has a nice vibe. As most other Central American cities, it has a central plaza in front of a beautiful cathedral, where lots of people come for a stroll or a sit. I feel very safe here, and it offers all of the amenities a traveler needs; food, banks, Internet, ample public transportation, hostels, and hotels.

Although I wouldn´t go out of my to visit Alajuela specifically, it was a real pleasure to find such a nice city so close to the airport.
