"The photograph and the hummingbird..."
As I was saying... we had an amazing time trying to capture a glimpse of these small marvels. We got sting by bugs, we got crowded by tourists, we smelled the hot weird aroma of the garden and boiled under the sun, but still, this the part we liked best (provided you take a time out to let a crowd pass).

Big (for a hummingbird!), impressive, the most beautiful shade of blue, a great Colibri!

We ended our day, and our trip, with this Violet Sabrewing by our side. While we gracefully drank our free coffee, we couldn't take our eyes off this guy defending its territory, hunting minuscule bugs and slurping sugar nectar... and obviously posing for us!
