The best hotel in Costa Rica

I stayed here for a few nights in April 2011 with my girlfriend. It was great; VERY cheap ($20 a night for the room), great location (the main downtown area is literally just blocks away), and the rooms were pretty nice too.

Within walking distance is the main square in front of the church, several restaurants, a grocery market, several souvenir shops, a couple bars, and a lot of places to set up activities to do while in town (like touring the volcano or going to the waterfall). It's very easy to get a cab from this location and you have a great view of the volcano from here as well.

The staffs speaks enough English to make checking in easy enough. They can also help set up tours / activities for you as well.

This was easily the best place we stayed at in the entire country (and none of the places we stayed at were "bad").

The one odd thing is that they don't seem to have a website. However, you can book with them through various other website and you can also probably just show up to get a room on arrival.
