Poas Lodge: Stay at Poas Volcano!
Really? I thought from the reviews I read and web site that this was a much bigger and nicer place to stay. I was a little skeptical when we arrived. The place was locked up but since we made reservations, they let us in. We were given a key to get in and a key to our room. No paperwork or presenting a credit card involved. The owner, an American, with his partner run the place. Our room had a king size bed and also a set of bunk beds, too. Bathroom was tiny. WiFi worked well. The views were breath taking! Breakfast was included with our stay and, basically, would make you pancakes or an omelet. Our stay was better than I anticipated after having the initial "look" upon arrival.
