I have been al lot of time in Nosara. This is the most beautiful spot. Ocean view, nice pool, simple room, close to the beach. Nosara is beautiful, in the middle of the jungle, a lot of things to do and little restaurants.

Guilded Iguana: Second swankiest hotel in Nosara
We stayed at the Guilded Iguana the week before Christmas, 2007. After the plane trip from Miami to San Jose, renting a car and driving to Nosara was a bit much for one day. I recommend that only the most tireless travelers try this. As the trip was a gift from my son, he took care of all the arrangements and driving. It took him the entire first day in Nosara to recover. Contributing to this was the sad fact that he rented a room next to the patio restaurant and kitchen for himself. He said the noise kept him up late and awakened him early the next day. If you are not a sound sleeper and plan to go to stay at the Guilded Iguana, Nosara be sure to get a room in the north building farthest from the dining area/patio.

Harmony Hotel Nosara (Playa Guiones): Harmony House at the Harmony Hotel Nosara
We just stayed the at the Harmony Hotel and actually switched to a place they have up the hill called the Harmony House. Great place. Very private, beautiful pool and incredible views. The Hotel offers the same maid and even food and beverage service at the Harmony house as at the hotel. And at the hotel we really enjoyed the organic food juice bar offering raw foods for lunch. We hope to be back in January.
Private Infinity pool with incredible views.

Harmony Hotel: Heavenly Harmony
The Harmony Hotel is the best thing that has happened to Playa Guiones. With modern, comfortable facilities, spacious rooms, a relaxing spa and fantastic food, it is a must when you look for a place to stay in Nosara. The staff is friendly and attentive, and it is hard to part when your vacation is finally over. It is also the perfect spot for surfing, as the point is just steps from your door. I would definitely recommend this place for a leisurely, healthy and relaxing vacation.
Fantastic pool, gorgeous gardens, the best king sized beds ever. Healthy vegetarian food, freshly made smoothies, raw food bar, and the most wonderful massage I ever had.

Guilded Iguana: Love the Gilded Iguana!
It was our second trip to Costa Rica but our first time in Nosara. We chose Gilded Iguana based on the price ($30 low season) and other people's recomendations. When we arrived we were greeted by Carlos who was very accomadating and friendly. Our room was on the second floor and was large and included a small refrigerator and coffee pot w/ coffee. The windows were large and screened and had louvers to allow fresh brezzes. There was a good celing fan and two floor fans as well. With the fans on we never felt too hot and it was even a bit chilly at night (blankets are available).
The pool is nice with a waterfall and poolside bar. The open air restaurant is a friendly gathering place for tourists ans locals and coffee is put out first ting in the morning. The breakfasts were plain and uninspiring but the lunches and dinners were delicious and a good bargan.
The path/road to the beach is directly in front of the hotel. It's one of the better situated hotels since nothing is allowed to be built within 200 meters of the beach there. It's a 5 minute walk to he beach.
The people who work at the hotel are all very friendly and make yoy feel more like part of the family than just another guest. We even saw and hung out with some of the staff when we would see them at other places around town.

Condominios: View from condo
This is the view that we had out of the kitchen window, at the condos.
We would see birds and iguanas in the trees and we could also see the ocean.

Condominio de las Flores: Condo
The Condominio de las Flores are privatly owned but are leased out when the owners are away.
We had a two bedroom condo with a lovely balcony for viewing the sunset.
