best keep secret
This is, on my opinio, the best keep secret in Tamarindo.... hotel wise. it's a small place, hiddedn behind a beautiful iron gate. Gourgeous pool, beautiful landscape, comfortable rooms and beds. Very quiet and clean, good service, affordable price, that is the place to go!

Great little hotel in Tamarindo
I have nothing but good to say about this place. I reading reviews of various hotels online I decided on this place because of the great price and good quality. They only have about 6-8 room in the complex. Most of them are small 1-bedroom apartments which are great for only $65 a night. No matter what you get they all have AC, cable, and nice looking bathrooms. The apartments come with a fridge and stove. There is even an onsite laundry room.
The only bad thing I could say about this place is that they don't provide clocks so make sure you bring one. You'll need an alarm to wake up early for tours and scuba diving. Hotel Flores doesn't look like much from outside but once inside the walls the complex is actually really nice looking and so are the rooms.
Unique Quality: The place has a cool looking pool in the middle of all the units. There are also sun chairs out so you can get a tan. Tamarindo isn't very big and this hotel is right next to the main strip. Its so new most people don't know where it is but just tell them its across the street from Hotel Passatiempo.
