One of the many things to see on the Sarapiqui
The Sarapiqui region is located in the northeastern part of Costa Rica. It is adjacent to Braullio Carrillo National Park, which was used as a location in the filming of the first Jurassic Park movie. It is very hot and humid in this region, and consists of lush tropical rainforests and diverse wildlife.
Located by the river of the same name, we stayed here for a couple of days to sample the local delights, which included white water rafting, mountain biking, bird watching and butterflies.
I apologise for the quality of the photographs on all my Costa Rica pages - unfortunately I lost my main camera on the flight over. The pictures are either from a small waterproof camera with a wide angle or copies taken from David's video.
