La Quinta de Sarapiqui: A great place to stay
The service is wonderful and friendly. They will help you with anything you need.
The rooms are clean but pretty basic. Nicely decorated. Not a luxury hotel. There is plenty of hot water. Rooms have little porches to sit on to enjoy the humming birds. Because it is set back off of the main road, it is very peaceful and quiet.
We have been there twice now and look forward to more stays.
Unique Quality: The people here are very very nice. The grounds get better every time we go with new and exciting nature areas. Lots and lots of flowers to attract beautiful birds. A pool, and again, the food is very good.
Dinner is served buffet style and offers something for everyone. Individual dining tablesrather than the family style that is offered many places.

La Quinta Sarapiqui: Great for birding
Simple but comfortable accommodation in blocks around beautifully natural grounds. Superb restaurant and rustic bar. Swimming pool. Many activities can be arranged from here. The hotel has its own butterfly house and poison dart frog garden.

La Quinta de Sarapiqui: Paradise on a bend in the river
Beautiful grounds in which humming birds dart about in front of the veranda of your own private cottage. An impressive butterfly house, it's own museum of Costa Rican history. A lake with a pagoda in the middle just to relax and watch it all happen around you...
