I could not have been happier with our accomodation here. The bungalow was stunning, private and on a beautiful property.
Great location on Playa Cocles and you can easily walk to Puerto Viejo from here.
Breakfast (incl.) was excellent, took a look at the dinner menu but was more expensive than average for the area, and there are so many options to eat around town.
Unique Quality: The pool is freeform with a beach walk-in and a coldwater jacuzzi.
Each bungalow (there are 8) has a double and 2 singles (1 in the loft) and a deck with benches and hammock.
Bathroom and shower beautiful and with screen windows.

Eco-friendly bungalows
My boyfriend and I stayed here for about a week in December 06/January 07. Pretty rustic, no tv/phone etc. but extremely friendly and across the street from the beach. Also a great base before moving on to Panama (I recommend Bocas del Toro!). The hotel also offers numerous trips and activities - I recommend the Bocas trips for at least 1-2 nights.

I was wondering if anyone had stayed at Azania Bungalows or any other bungalow/hotel around Puerto Viejo in the southeastern part of CR. I really want to stay someplace close to the beach, is AB close to the beach? The website makes it sound like it is but websites aren't always truthful...
