    Located in Playa Hermosa is the Backyard Hotel. Great place to just relax by the beach or hang out with the surfers in the bar next door which is also owned by the Backyard.

    The rooms are clean with air condition, large showers with hot water. Liquid soap and shampoo are also supplied. The views of the beach, sounds of the crashing waves and smell of the tropical plants can easily make someone what to stay for ever.

    Wednesday night is ladies night and well drinks are free. I would guess about half of Jaco shows up that night. Eventhough the music is loud, we did not hear too much while in our room. The Backyard offers two suites with beautiful views of the beach and of the pool.

    I recommend this location to anyone who is planning on being in the Jaco/Hermosa area!

    I went to the bar for a happy hour, we order happy hour sunset special which is beer pilsen for $1 with a boca which is advertise in there own website and also in there menu, well when we got the check I was charge regular prices for the whole order, plus they charge for the boca. I ask the waiter about the special and he remark the owner change his mind they will be not happy hour today, but they still keep the menus in all tables advertising beer for $1 with a boca. Well to make this coment short they did not give us the happy hour special and we pay full prices for our order
