Hey folks, Does anyone know of a cheap hotel or a hostel for a couple? A double room with a private bath around $10-$15 per person would be nice. Have a great day.
If you are planning to stay in quepos also, Id say flag jaco altogether. There not much there in the way of sight seeing. Expensive souveniour shops and resteraunts, thats about it. Beach is alright for surfing, but if thats not your thing, I dont think youll a stay there worth it
Nobody loves ice cream as much as Costa Ricans and its no wonder...it is so good!!. There are a couple of place in Jaco and they carry lots of flavours . It's great on a hot evening to sit outside with the locals and sample a couple of types!!
This was our second visit to Jaco in the last three years and things are changing. We saw alot more big developments and and more chains are moving in .
We still enjoyed ourselves . The people are very friendly and the beach still as long and inviting . If you're looking for a place with lots of partying and restaurants , on a beach . Then this is it . If you want a more natural costa rican experience...move onward.
Jaco can be fun for a few days. There's always some music you can catch and they have some good restaurants and and bars...its an easy place to be.
The beach is still nice..good for an early morning run!
